Electronic Air Cleaners:

The Frigidaire Electronic Air Cleaner features a lifetime, environmentally-friendly filtration system. It is designed to remove lung-damaging air pollutants down to .01 micron. Equipped with an extremely reliable Electronic Air Proving Switch for cycling air cleaner on/off with a system fan. Attacks all three classes of indoor air contaminants, particles, bioaerosols and odors/chemical vapors, when an optional Carbon Filter is added. |
High Efficiency Air Cleaners:
| The Frigidaire High Efficiency Media Air Cleaner removes particles down to 0.3 micron (1/84,000 of an inch). Features silent operation with a 10 MERV rating*.
* MERV (Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value) which is how air filters are rated for efficiency. The higher the number the more efficient the filter. |

HEPA Air Cleaners:

HEPA (high efficiency particulate arrestance) filters are one of the few systems available that use True Medical grade HEPA paper. These units remove 99.97% of airborne contaminants on particles 0.3 microns and larger.
The HEPA unit is actually three filters in one. The top polyester filter removes larger, visible particles; the charcoal filter removes smoke and odors; while the HEPA filter removes the most minute respirable particles from the air passing through it.
