The ultraviolet (UV) component of sunlight is the
main reason microbes die in outdoor air. The use of ultraviolet
germicidal light for sterilization of micro-organisms has been studied
since the 1930's. Microbes are vulnerable to the effects of light at the
wavelengths at or near 253.7 nm. At that wavelength ultraviolet light
has the right amount of energy to break bonds or genetically damage
microorganisms. Ultraviolet systems have much more concentrated levels
of ultraviolet energy than are found in sunlight.

Mold contamination can actually be found lining your
heating and air conditioning systems duct work. Ultra violet germicidal
(UVC) light can help remove airborne populations of mold, bacteria and
viruses in your home. Properly designed UV system installations have
proven highly effective in homes, hospitals, schools, etc.

For: Pre-existing and New Construction
1. When using an HVAC system... you will be
bringing in air from the outside as well as recycled inside air and
running it thru a HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Arrestor) Filter,
plus carbon before the HVAC System. As a result, you are now ridding all
contamination being introduced to the motor, coils, heating elements and
ultimately all ductwork, delivering healthy, highly filtered clean air
to the room.
2. When using radiant heat...in order to purify the air, it is
necessary to use a heat exchange unit in conjunction with our MOD 10 or
MOD 10 UV air filtration system.
3. Our HEPA/Carbon Filtration System with UV Germicidal Lighting,
adds a new dimension which is a process of disinfecting mold, bacteria
and infectious diseases and decreasing volatile organic compounds in the
air stream. UV lighting is becoming very popular with the home owner
today.
