I have known Keith Roe since 1999. He is highly diligent and the person I turn to if I need to have a home evaluated for molds, bacteria, or other allergens or infectious agents.
Keith and his staff have the expertise to evaluate homes and give common sense recommendations for remediation of problems.

To Air Care & Restoration Co.,
We put in our Air Care system in April of this year to help out with
Allergies. Two of my three kids, as well as I, suffer from allergies. My
oldest gets allergies so bad in the spring, her asthma kicks in and ends up
missing school. I am happy to report that this is the best year we have had.
My oldest daughter went for her checkup at the allergist and said she had very
little allergy symptoms. They were amazed because this was an extremely bad
allergy year. It is nice to enjoy spring!
Sincerely,
Carol Lee

Very truly yours, Richard Shankweiler Director of Maintenance/Buildings & Grounds Salisbury Township School District
To Keith and Karen Roe,
I would like to offer high praise for Keith Roe and Air Care and
Restoration. Keith is an expert in the field of indoor air quality. He is
very generous with his time and very thorough in his investigation of the
situation. My family appreciated Keith's time and patience in explaining
our options and dealing with a problem with one of his units.
A member of our household had a negative reaction to an odor produced by a filtering
device. Keith took back the unit and replaced it with a comparable one and
then checked to make sure there were no further problems. His care for
customer satisfaction is truly commendable. I noticed fresher air on the
very first day! Hopefully more people will recognize the value of
maintaining excellent indoor air quality!

Subject: From a highly satisfied and appreciative customer...
Air Care and Restoration of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania provides a complete set of services for homeowners to address, in a thoughtful and effective manner, the variety of problems associated with water infiltration and mold damage. Their solutions are well-conceived and long-lasting, and follow-up visits validate their responsiveness to the homeowner.
When I purchased my 24 year-old house in 2001, I thought that the mildew-type odors throughout the house could be corrected with an air filter, especially since my home inspection did not reveal any systemic problem. Air Care, using thorough and advanced diagnostic techniques, discovered that the problem was more invasive and could not be corrected simply with an air filter.
With state-of-the-art technology, they identified that a number of walls had higher than normal moisture content. Further investigation located a cracked foundation, which Air Care repaired. To stem the flow of water around the perimeter of the house, Air Care completely regraded the landscape. Other contractors had proposed expensive French drains that become inoperative after a few years.
The Air Care crew also determined that the house was getting insufficient light because of the expanse of foliage that surrounded the property. This prevented the siding and roof from properly drying after a rainy or humid day. Air Care then proceeded to contract with a tree removal service to tactically cut back the offending trees, while leaving the bulk of the remaining trees intact. Also, extra drainage pipes were installed along the roofline and along the regraded landscaping. Special vents were added to certain walls to moderate the humidity levels.
To address the abnormally high humidity throughout the interior of the house, Air Care installed an air management system of which no other contractor I had surveyed was aware. This system has certainly proved to be far more effective than a conventional basement humidifier, which was the preferred solution of other contractors.
The totality and thoroughness of the remediation effort has kept the humidity of the house below 50%, which is critical for mold suppression.
